Saudi Arabia, Coalition Vow Firm Response to Houthi Maritime Sanctions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Saudi-led coalition has declared its commitment to protecting its commercial vessels in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and will confront any source of threat with decisive force. This statement comes in response to pronouncements by the Houthi movement regarding sanctions on Saudi ports.
Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the coalition forces, asserted that claims about the closure of Yemeni ports and airports are part of a campaign of propaganda and escalation by the Houthis. He emphasized that protective measures for coalition ships have been initiated and will be met with a firm response to Houthi threats.
Concurrently, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the Houthi allegations of Riyadh besieging the Yemeni people. The ministry also denounced the Houthi declaration of a shipping ban against Saudi Arabia as unacceptable. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further announced that all necessary measures will be taken to safeguard vessels in accordance with international law.
