Netanyahu to Visit United States on Monday for Talks with Trump

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s office announced on Monday that he will embark on a trip to the United States, accepting an invitation extended by President Donald Trump. The visit is scheduled to include a meeting with President Trump on Tuesday.

Previously, reports indicated that Netanyahu’s trip to the U.S. had been postponed. The Israeli publication Ynet claimed that the delay was not solely due to the rescheduling of the funeral for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, an outspoken critic of Iran, but also stemmed from escalating disagreements with the Trump administration. These tensions were reportedly exacerbated by significant criticism directed at the Israeli regime by J.D. Vance, a Trump aide, who accused Israel of attempting to influence U.S. foreign policy and potentially draw Washington into further conflict.

The report suggested that Vance’s remarks, asserting that the Israeli regime seeks to sway American foreign policy and push Washington towards war, created a situation where Netanyahu’s visit could become an opportunity for public criticism. This comes despite the fact that all Israeli military actions in the region have been conducted with the full coordination and backing of the United States and the Trump administration.
