International Criminal Court Votes to Remove Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has voted to dismiss its chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, with 82 of its 125 member states backing the removal. This decision follows Khan’s earlier request for arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The International Criminal Court (ICC) has voted to dismiss its chief prosecutor, Karim Khan. Data released by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, and Reuters reporting from informed sources, indicate that 82 out of the 125 member states of the ICC voted in favor of removing Karim Khan from his position.

The ICC’s decision to oust Karim Khan comes after his previous initiative to request arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime. This request ultimately led to the issuance of arrest warrants against Netanyahu by the court.
