Saudi Arabia Confirms Attack on Vessel in Red Sea

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia has confirmed an attack on one of its vessels in the Red Sea. Official sources within the General Transport Authority of Saudi Arabia stated that the ship, identified as NCC MASA and belonging to a Saudi company, was targeted on Friday while traversing the Red Sea.
The Saudi official further reported that the vessel sustained minor damage to its hull as a result of the incident. Following assurances of the ship’s seaworthiness and the well-being of all crew members, the vessel resumed its journey towards its destination.
The Saudi official also asserted that such attacks constitute a violation of international laws and customs, which, according to the official, are designed to ensure the safety and security of commercial vessels and their crews.
