Yemen Issues Stern Warning to Saudi Arabia Over Neighborly Relations

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of Saudi Arabia’s alleged airspace violations, vowing a response in accordance with international law and warning Riyadh against antagonizing its Arab and Islamic neighbors.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen has declared that the Saudi regime’s alleged violations of Yemeni airspace are unacceptable and will be met with a response in line with international laws, charters, and norms. Data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al-Masirah, detailed the ministry’s statement.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry’s statement further indicated that the downing of Saudi drones within Yemeni airspace signifies a breach of the nation’s sovereignty, granting Yemen the right to reciprocal action. The ministry addressed those who criticize Yemen for opposing these airspace violations, stating, “Open your airspace to Saudi aircraft so they can fly freely and target whomever they wish.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Yemen will not tolerate violations of its airspace and will act to preserve its sovereignty. It affirmed that unity across various fronts, regardless of the scale of events, is a firmly established religious principle. The statement also condemned Saudi threats against Iraq, issuing a clear warning to the Saudi regime that enmity with its Arab and Islamic neighbors will inflict significant damage upon it.
