Hashd al-Shaabi Forces Suffer Over 50 Casualties in US-Saudi Attacks

The Hashd al-Shaabi announced that the number of martyrs has risen to 20 and the wounded to 32 following brutal US-Saudi airstrikes targeting its positions across Iraq.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hashd al-Shaabi reported an increase in casualties, with the death toll reaching 20 and 32 individuals wounded in the recent aggressive attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia against its bases. The organization confirmed these figures based on data released by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.

In response to the dawn airstrikes on Hashd al-Shaabi positions, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Ali Al-Zaidi, has ordered an extraordinary security meeting. The session is convened to deliberate on the evolving security situation in Iraq and to formulate necessary decisions. A statement is expected to be issued following the conclusion of this meeting.

The airstrikes, carried out by what Iraqi sources described as American-Saudi aggressors, targeted Hashd al-Shaabi bases in the provinces of Karbala, Nineveh, and Mosul in the early hours of the morning. Iraqi sources further indicated that resistance bases in the city of Amerli in Salah al-Din province and the town of Dibs in Kirkuk province, both located in northern Iraq, were also struck in the Saudi-American assaults.
