Pakistan Police Station Bombing Kills 5, Injures Over 12

A potential suicide bombing outside a police station in Pakistan’s northwestern Swat Valley on Sunday resulted in five fatalities and left more than a dozen others injured. Authorities are investigating the precise nature of the blast.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency citing Anatolia News Agency, Pakistani police announced on Sunday that a possible suicide attack in front of a police station in the country’s northwest has killed five people and injured more than 12 others.

Muhammad Omar, the regional police chief, told reporters that the incident occurred in the city of Kabal, located in the picturesque Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. The blast happened while a group of local youths were protesting in front of the police station.

The regional police chief stated that a severed head was found at the explosion site, likely belonging to the suicide attacker. However, police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact nature of the bombing.
