This operation is described as a continuation of retaliatory actions.

Several hours prior, the Yemeni army launched a number of ballistic missiles and drones targeting gatherings of Saudi forces and their armament storage facilities in Al-Mukha. Yemeni sources have reported substantial losses inflicted upon the Saudi enemy during this offensive.
