Iraq Launches Eight Airstrikes Against ISIS Remnants
Iraq’s security forces have conducted at least eight airstrikes targeting remaining strongholds of the ISIS terrorist group, as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle the remnants of the organization.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Iraqi Security Media Cell announced that a minimum of eight airstrikes have been carried out against the bases of remaining elements from the ISIS terrorist formation.
These aerial operations were executed under the mission of the 11th Division of the Kirkuk Operations Command.
Despite the dismantling of the ISIS terrorist formation, underground remnants of the group occasionally engage in sabotage operations within Iraq. These actions are consistently met with resistance from security forces, particularly the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
