Gaza Government Office Accuses Netanyahu of Stalling Peace Talks Amid Ongoing Conflict

The Gaza government’s information office has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of backtracking on negotiation progress and using talks as a political cover to prolong the conflict and civilian deaths in Gaza. The office highlighted Netanyahu’s rejection of a 15-point proposal, deeming his conditions unfeasible and detrimental to ceasefire efforts.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the government information office in the Gaza Strip has declared that statements and positions from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu represent a clear retreat from the negotiation process. The office asserted that the occupying regime is utilizing negotiations as a political facade to gain time and continue the collective killing of Gaza’s population.

The office pointed to Netanyahu’s explicit opposition to a 15-point document, stating that the Israeli Prime Minister has put forth unachievable conditions and demands, prominently including a refusal for any withdrawal of the occupying army from the Gaza Strip.

The statement detailed that Netanyahu’s stances are in direct contradiction with the course of negotiations and their outcomes, deliberately disrupting efforts to establish a ceasefire and exacerbating the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The Gaza government information office emphasized that the rejection of the 15-point document constitutes a direct blow to the mediators’ efforts and an attempt to evade commitments related to the second phase of an agreement.

The body indicated that all Palestinian factions have engaged with the roadmap and negotiation outcomes responsibly and with flexibility to prevent further bloodshed and end the human suffering in Gaza. However, the Israeli regime has once again demonstrated its disregard for agreements and diplomatic paths, seeking to create manufactured crises to revert conditions to their starting point and facilitate the continuation of its aggressions.

The information office of the Palestinian government in Gaza holds Netanyahu and the commanders of the Israeli army fully responsible for the legal, political, and criminal repercussions of this approach and the dangers its continuation poses to the ceasefire path.

The office also called upon mediators, guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, the international community, and the United Nations to exert immediate pressure on the Israeli regime to halt the genocidal war and implement the agreements.

The statement further underscored the necessity for an immediate withdrawal of the occupying army from the Gaza Strip, the reopening of crossings, the lifting of the siege, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the commencement of Gaza’s reconstruction process, unhindered by the political maneuvers of the Israeli regime.

The information office of the Palestinian government in Gaza reiterated that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast on their land, and the pressures and blackmail tactics, whether military or political, employed by the occupying Israeli regime will not be able to break the Palestinian will or impose demands that diminish their rights and sacrifices.
