Trump Claims U.S. Cleared Strait of Hormuz of All Mines
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that American forces have entirely cleared the Strait of Hormuz of all mines. His administration continues to rely on Iran for the reopening of the strait. Trump further asserted that the Strait of Hormuz is currently open and that a significant number of ships are passing through this passage.
The U.S. President reiterated his claim that the U.S. Navy is the sole force in control of the Strait of Hormuz. Concurrently, he stated that Washington still possesses the capability to intensify its pressure and actions against Iran.
In response to a reporter’s question about what would happen after the “last chance” announcement for Iran, Trump vaguely stated, “You will find out,” without providing any specific details. He also claimed that the measures being undertaken by the United States would prevent any negative developments, emphasizing that “nothing bad will happen.”
In a separate remark, the U.S. President expressed occasional desires to be rid of the Senate but clarified that he would not voice such sentiments or take such actions.
Regarding Iran, President Trump claimed that Tehran may create problems but is bankrupt and lacks funds, without acknowledging the rising inflation in the U.S. attributed to his flawed Iran policies and his inability to ensure the passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
When asked if he had a response for Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump stated that his reply had been published on the social media platform “Truth Social.” He described his response as “a good answer” and, without referencing the significant disagreements between Tel Aviv and Washington, particularly concerning Iran, asserted that relations between the U.S. and the Israeli regime are very good.
