Moscow Denounces EU’s Provocative Actions Against Russian Athletes

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the press office of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation announced that the European Union is prepared to take any action to prevent Moscow’s return to international sports arenas. This statement, published on the website of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, indicates that the EU views the organization of provocative actions against members of Russian teams on the eve of competitions as an effective method to exclude Russians from games.

Although international regulations emphasize the impartiality of sports bodies in political matters, EU member states have made significant efforts to prevent the participation of Russian sports teams in international competitions since the commencement of the war in Ukraine.
