Israeli Forces Enter Syrian Town of Quneitra in Southern Syria

Syrian sources have reported new movements by Israeli forces, with soldiers entering the town of Quneitra in southern Syria and establishing a checkpoint. This incident follows a pattern of Israeli attacks on Syria since the previous Syrian regime’s collapse.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera and Mehr News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new movements by the Israeli regime in southern Syria. These sources indicated that Israeli occupation soldiers entered the town of Quneitra in the southern countryside of Quneitra and set up a checkpoint there.

The Israeli regime has launched extensive attacks on Syria since the collapse of the previous Syrian regime. Notably, the regime recently bombed areas of Damascus under the pretext of supporting the Druze population.

Since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, Israeli forces have crossed the buffer zone between the occupied Golan region and Syria. They have continued to occupy areas near the Golan in the Daraa and Quneitra governorates.
