Massive Explosion Rocks South Lebanon; Israel Accused of Ceasefire Violation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a significant explosion has occurred in southern Lebanon, situated between the towns of Bani Hayyan and Qantara. Al Mayadeen network’s correspondent in south Lebanon reported the incident, which local sources claim involved the use of ammonium nitrate by the Israeli regime.

The intensity of the blast was such that its sound was audible in areas including Sidon, Mount Lebanon, and the Western Beqaa Valley. This event follows a “framework agreement” reached between Lebanon and the Israeli regime, brokered by the United States, aimed at ending hostilities. The agreement, the result of several rounds of negotiations with Washington’s mediation, intended to establish a ceasefire and de-escalate tensions along the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.

Despite this agreement, which has faced various criticisms, the Israeli regime’s violations of the ceasefire are reported to be ongoing.
