Trump Reiterates Claims of ‘Full Control’ Over Strait of Hormuz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, former U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his unfounded assertions, which are contrary to international reports and data from international maritime navigation centers, stating that the United States has full control over the Strait of Hormuz and intends to maintain this control.

In his statements on the “Truth Social” platform, Trump exaggerated the activities of the U.S. military, claiming: “Everyone refers to our naval blockade as a “wall of steel” and Iran can do nothing!”

He repeated his misconceptions about Iran’s military capabilities, alleging that they possess neither a naval fleet nor an air force. He further claimed that remaining soldiers are unpaid, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is depleted and fleeing, and that Iran has no money and its country is in a dire state.

Trump’s claims regarding Iran come at a time when the vast majority of political analysts and theorists not affiliated with the U.S. administration consider Trump a major failure in this conflict. They believe that the U.S. has very limited options for an honorable exit from this situation.
