Pakistan Urges De-escalation in Middle East, Emphasizes Dialogue

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has once again stressed the importance of reducing tensions in the Middle East. Dar emphasized the necessity of de-escalation in the region and called for more dialogue to achieve this objective.

This stance by the Pakistani Foreign Minister comes as Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, arrived in Mashhad on Wednesday afternoon for meetings and discussions with senior Iranian officials. During his meeting with Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Naqvi engaged in discussions on bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
