Hundreds of Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Police Protection

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, hundreds of Israeli settlers have launched widespread incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, with a significant number performing public Talmudic rituals within its holy courtyards. The incursions, occurring under the protection of Israeli police forces, have transformed parts of the mosque complex into venues for overt religious ceremonies, including chanting, clapping, and singing.

The settlers’ actions have extended to organized dances and group tours across the mosque’s grounds, a move seen as an attempt to impose a new reality within the Al-Aqsa compound. Simultaneously, restrictions have been imposed on the entry of Muslims to the mosque, while settlers have expanded the scope of their Talmudic observances to various sections of the courtyards. The eastern area of the mosque has become a primary location for daily rituals, with specific implements for Talmudic worship being openly brought into the sacred site.

Local sources in Jerusalem reported that at least 584 Israeli settlers participated in the morning’s incursions into the Al-Aqsa courtyards, coinciding with the eve of the start of the “Hebrew month.” Among the infiltrators was Tal Yenon Dardik, an Israeli right-wing activist known for actions against Palestinians, who led a group in performing the “Priestly Blessing” ceremony near the Bab al-Rahma prayer area in the eastern section of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
