Trump Possesses Extensive Tools to Pressure Iran, Says Vance

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that former President Donald Trump has a wide array of diplomatic, military, and economic tools at his disposal to exert pressure on Iran, emphasizing energy security and preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has asserted that former President Donald Trump possesses a comprehensive set of diplomatic, military, and economic instruments to apply pressure on Iran. Vance claimed that the primary objectives for the United States at this juncture are to ensure the continued supply of energy to the global economy and to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

Vance further alleged that Iran is inherently unpredictable, attributing this to the unpredictable nature of the Iranian people themselves, who he claimed sometimes fail to adhere to their commitments. Accusing Iran of not upholding agreements, the U.S. Vice President suggested that restoring stability to the Strait of Hormuz could contribute to stabilizing oil and gas prices for American citizens.

He also asserted that Washington has means to compel Iran to take practical steps. Addressing the energy crisis in the United States, Vance indicated that the Trump administration’s focus is on the energy sector to ensure that American citizens can afford oil and gas costs. The repeated claims by U.S. officials regarding the prevention of Iran’s access to nuclear weapons come as Iranian officials have consistently stated that the country has never pursued and will never pursue the development of nuclear weapons. Additionally, the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, issued a religious edict deeming the construction of nuclear weapons to be forbidden.
