Israeli Military Attacks Lebanon and Syria Amid Ceasefire Violations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has violated the ceasefire by launching flares over the town of Houla in southern Lebanon. Israeli fighter jets also targeted the Wadi Adshit-Qusayr area and the town of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre district.

Al-Manar network reported that Israeli warplanes struck the outskirts of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon. A reconnaissance mission was conducted by an Israeli military helicopter in the Ali Al-Taher region in southern Lebanon. The Ali Al-Taher area was subsequently subjected to continuous artillery shelling by the Israeli army, which extended to Jabal Al-Rafi’ and the heights of Al-Dabsha in the Nabatieh region. The report added that the Israeli forces used prohibited weapons, including phosphorus shells, in these attacks.

In Syria, Syrian sources reported fires in agricultural lands in the Quneitra countryside following an attack by the Israeli army. Arab Journal news site, citing informed sources, stated that a large fire erupted in the agricultural lands of the town of Al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside due to intense flare shelling by Israeli forces during a new attack on the Quneitra region. These flares reportedly ignited fires in the town’s agricultural areas, damaging crops and causing concern among residents, while Israeli forces continued their movements and troop buildup in the border region. No information regarding the extent of damage from these attacks has been released so far.
