Russia Warns US, Turkey on Arms Shipments to Ukraine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated on Saturday that Moscow seeks transparency from the United States and Turkey concerning reports from Congress about plans to supply arms to Kyiv.
Zakharova urged both the U.S. and Turkey to realistically assess the situation regarding arms deliveries to Kyiv. She emphasized that if weapons are supplied to Ukraine, detrimental impacts on the relationships between Russia and Turkey, as well as Russia and the United States, would be unavoidable.
The spokesperson further asserted that equipping the Ukrainian armed forces with new weaponry will not alter the course of developments. The motivations behind the U.S. and Turkey’s decision to open what she termed a “Pandora’s Box,” which could prolong the challenges faced by the Kyiv regime, remain unclear.
