Poll Shows Majority of Americans Dissatisfied with Trump’s Economic Policies and Stance on Iran

A recent poll published by the Financial Times indicates that over half of American voters believe their financial situation has worsened since Donald Trump’s return to power, with significant disapproval regarding his handling of inflation and the conflict with Iran.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by the Mehr News Agency, citing a poll by the Financial Times, reveals that more than half of American voters feel their financial standing has deteriorated since Donald Trump assumed office. The survey indicated that 53 percent of participants reported a worsening of their financial situation.

Furthermore, 64 percent of respondents expressed the belief that the U.S. economy is moving in the wrong direction. The poll highlighted that Trump registered his lowest public approval ratings concerning his efforts to combat inflation and rising prices. Specifically, 64 percent of participants rejected his policies in this area, with only 21 percent expressing support. Regarding the actions against Iran, 54 percent disapproved of his performance, while only 27 percent approved.

The Financial Times reported that the findings of this survey gain particular significance as the U.S. midterm elections approach on November 3. These elections will determine the composition of one-third of the Senate seats and all seats in the House of Representatives, both of which are currently controlled by Republicans.
