Armed Attack Claims 30 Lives in Nigeria’s Plateau State

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, local media outlets reported on Tuesday that an armed group launched a nighttime assault on a community in Nigeria‘s central Plateau State, resulting in approximately 30 fatalities and multiple injuries. The incident occurred in the Binpye district.
The Vanguard newspaper, an independent daily published in Nigeria, reported that heavily armed assailants stormed the homes of residents during the night and attacked them. An eyewitness, Daniel Musa, stated that the attackers forcibly entered the homes of sleeping individuals and killed them.
Reports from local media also indicate that some residents are missing in the aftermath of the attack. As of now, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the deadly assault.
