US Vice President Claims Economic Pressure Will Alter Iran’s Deal Calculations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that economic pressure against Iran will change Tehran’s calculations concerning a potential agreement with Washington. Vance claimed these pressures will force Iran to question whether it wants its economy to remain in a state of suffocation indefinitely or to pursue better relations with the West. The U.S. Vice President further alleged that despite what he described as Iran’s “targeting of commercial vessels,” the United States has successfully facilitated the transit of significant quantities of oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that Washington must ensure the passage of even greater volumes of energy shipments via this critical waterway. Vance affirmed that the United States will continue to apply economic pressure on Iran, asserting that this policy will ultimately lead to Washington’s desired outcome. He also claimed that recent developments have demonstrated that Iranians are feeling the effects of these pressures far more acutely than Americans. The Vice President added that Washington is working to establish a “new reality” to ensure Iran does not attempt to rebuild its nuclear facilities.
