Poland Summons Israeli Ambassador Over Aid Convoy Attack Investigation

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned Israel’s ambassador to demand a full explanation and clarification regarding the fatal attack on a World Central Kitchen aid convoy. Warsaw insists on thorough accountability for the incident.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the ambassador of the Zionist regime following its condemnation of the regime’s actions to date. The ministry has called for complete and precise clarification concerning the dimensions and circumstances of the attack on the aid convoy belonging to the organization “World Central Kitchen” (WCK).

The ministry emphasized that the case is currently under review by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Przemyśl, Poland, and Warsaw expects Tel Aviv to provide all requested explanations and evidence to Polish investigators.

The statement from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the country does not accept Israeli officials’ attempts to evade moral and legal responsibility, and the circumstances of the aid workers’ deaths must be fully clarified.

This diplomatic action follows the Zionist regime’s army claiming that after reviewing the case of the April 1, 2024, attack, it had no intention of opening a criminal case against the soldiers and commanders involved in the incident.

The Zionist regime’s army attributed this crime to a “mistake in target identification” and “serious operational deficiencies,” claiming there was no evidence of criminal misconduct.

During the attack, seven foreign aid workers, including Australian citizen Zomi Frankcom and a Polish citizen, lost their lives. Australia had previously taken a similar step by summoning the Zionist regime’s ambassador.
