Putin and Trump to Hold Talks at APEC Summit If Both Attend

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump are expected to engage in discussions during the upcoming APEC summit in China in November, provided both leaders are present, according to a senior Kremlin official.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov stated on Sunday that Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, the presidents of Russia and the United States respectively, will hold discussions if both are in attendance at the APEC summit in China in November. Ushakov informed Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin that while there is still considerable time before the APEC summit, he believes a meeting between the leaders is inevitable if they are at the same event. He noted that there have been no specific signals or indications yet, as the summit remains three months away, and emphasized that there are many significant international events yet to unfold.
