Russia Denies Reports of Diplomatic Relations Reduction with UK
The Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom has denied reports suggesting a reduction in diplomatic ties between Moscow and London, stating that any such decrease to the lowest level has been initiated by London.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Embassy in the UK on Sunday issued a statement refuting reports concerning a reduction in diplomatic relations between Moscow and London. The embassy stated that reports in The Times newspaper about plans to lower the level of diplomatic relations following the conclusion of Andrey Kelin’s tenure as the former Russian ambassador are inaccurate.
The embassy clarified that any decrease in relations to the lowest level has been solely at London’s initiative.
