Russia Claims Downing 777 Ukrainian Drones Over Multiple Regions

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Friday that 777 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed overnight across various Russian regions, including Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, and Crimea, as well as over the Black and Caspian Seas.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that 777 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and neutralized over different areas of the country during the past night. These operations took place over regions such as Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, and Crimea, and extended to the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. The data was reportedly published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik News Agency.

Meanwhile, Aleksandr Shuvaev, acting governor of the Belgorod region, stated that in the preceding 24 hours, attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on the Belgorod region resulted in four fatalities and sixteen injuries.

Dmitry Milyaev, the governor of the Tula region, also reported that a drone attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Tula led to two deaths and three injuries. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical assistance.
