Armed Clashes Erupt in Kobani Between Kurdish Militias and Golan Elements

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Kurdish militias engaged in a military operation, storming the positions and headquarters of elements affiliated with the Golan group in the city of Kobani.

Kobani, located in the northern Aleppo countryside, is under a state of security alert following widespread public protests that escalated to violence. The unrest began in response to the killing of a young man and rapidly transformed into street demonstrations.

Angry protesters inflicted damage on the Internal Security Directorate building and its associated vehicles in the city center. In response to these protests, Golan elements have declared a state of alert, and efforts are ongoing to contain the tensions within the city.
