Kremlin Cites Possibility of Ukraine Talks Resumption in October

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated that Moscow does not dismiss the likelihood of a new round of trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States. However, he emphasized that a “coordinated package” for initiating these talks is not yet in place.

Yuri Ushakov, an advisor to the Kremlin, indicated that the issue of territory would be a central theme of any negotiations, alongside other matters requiring resolution. Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had expressed readiness to meet with Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Miami in December. Peskov, however, deemed this proposal unfeasible, asserting that Moscow would only consent to a meeting held within Russia. Previous negotiation rounds have concluded without resolution.
