South African President Ramaphosa Urges Negotiated Resolution for Ukraine Conflict

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has stated that the conflict in Ukraine must be resolved through negotiation, expressing encouragement from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s willingness to seek a settlement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa, announced on Sunday that discussions were held regarding the situation in Ukraine during a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin in New Delhi on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

The South African President further commented that he was greatly impressed by President Putin’s expressed willingness to achieve a resolution to the Ukraine conflict.

Ramaphosa added that the conflict in Ukraine must be settled through negotiation.
