US Faces Yemen Dilemma Amidst Escalating Conflict and War Expansion Fears

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Western sources have indicated a critical juncture that Washington is facing in Yemen. Reuters reported that escalating conflicts in Yemen have presented Washington with a dilemma. The Western media outlet stated that Washington is under pressure to assist Saudi Arabia, while concurrently aiming to avoid the expansion of a costly war into a new arena; in other words, the scope of the conflict should not broaden.
This comes as, hours earlier, the official Saudi News Agency reported that Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman hosted CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper in Jeddah on Monday. Mercenaries affiliated with Saudi Arabia have suffered a significant defeat in Yemen, and Riyadh’s request for military support has reportedly been met with opposition from President Donald Trump, who has rejected Saudi Arabia’s plea.
Channel 12 of the Israeli regime’s television had previously reported that Saudi Arabia had requested military support from Washington. According to this report, U.S. President Donald Trump has opposed direct attacks against Ansar Allah.
