Trump’s running mate claims ‘direct talks’ with Yemeni forces

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, J.D. Vance, the running mate for former U.S. President Donald Trump, stated on Monday that his team is closely observing the situation in Yemen, including engagements with Saudi Arabia and direct contacts with the Yemeni forces, referred to as Houthis. Vance indicated that these matters remain under meticulous scrutiny.
The American vice-presidential candidate further elaborated that his team has had direct dialogues with the Houthis, as well as with Emirati and Saudi officials, regarding recent developments. He characterized the situation as rapidly evolving and emphasized that it is being monitored to safeguard American interests.
Vance also expressed concern over the Houthi capture of Perim Island in the Red Sea, noting that the situation is being carefully tracked.
