Trump Claims Ukraine and Russia Agreed Not to Target Energy Facilities

U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Ukraine has agreed not to attack Russian energy facilities, asserting that Russia has reciprocated this commitment. The statement comes amid global concerns over energy prices.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, via a post on his social media platform Truth Social, alleged that Ukraine has agreed not to target Russian energy installations. He further claimed that Russia has also pledged to adhere to a similar stance. Trump’s remarks come as he attempts to address concerns over energy prices, following the recent securitization of the strategic Strait of Hormuz ahead of the midterm congressional elections.
The U.S. President asserted that the increase in global diesel prices is primarily a consequence of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, not Iran.
