Russia Summons UK Envoy Over Ukraine Arms, Warns of Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Foreign Ministry announced that Britain’s actions in arming Ukraine with long-range weapons make London a participant in Kyiv’s hostile actions. The Russian Foreign Ministry also summoned the British Chargé d’Affaires in Moscow and conveyed its strong protest regarding the increase in arms aid to Ukraine. Moscow warned Britain about the consequences of escalating tensions.

The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Britain’s stance on the Ukraine issue aims to prolong the war and intensify it. Russia also declared that it reserves the right to take necessary measures in response to these movements and will consider any British military facilities in Ukraine used for attacks against Russia as legitimate targets.
