Belarusian President Lukashenko Praises Iranian Resilience, Cites Wealth as Conflict Driver

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko lauded the Iranian people’s enduring spirit, asserting they have never bowed to any power, and suggested that the nation’s wealth is a primary instigator of ongoing conflicts.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated in remarks that the heirs of Persian civilization have never bowed to anyone, questioning why Americans would engage in conflict with them.

In comments recirculated by the Kalush Report social media account, Lukashenko emphasized that while Americans are aware of Iran’s history, including the 1970s seizure of the U.S. Embassy, they initiate hostilities. He drew a parallel to Belarus, asking if it should recommence fighting Germans after suffering 30 million casualties in World War II, asserting that such a course would be illogical.

Lukashenko asserted that those who decided to start the current conflict were motivated by Iran’s wealth, which he identified as the principal reason for the ongoing struggle.
