Russia Claims Destruction of Two Ukrainian Radar Stations Using Drone Strikes

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that Russian drone operators utilized ‘Kran’ drones to target two Ukrainian military radar stations in the Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The ministry specified that two ‘D-35’ radar stations were destroyed using two ‘Kran-4 seeker’ drones. One of these stations was located near the settlement of Starokazache in the Odesa region, while the second was targeted near the settlement of Andriivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that since the commencement of the “special military operation,” Russian forces have destroyed 674 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 241,996 drones, 672 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,971 tanks and armored combat vehicles, 1,778 multiple rocket launcher systems, 36,505 field artillery pieces and mortars, and 72,371 special military vehicles. Russia asserts that its “special military operation,” which began on February 24, 2022, is aimed at protecting the residents of Donbas, who Russia claims have been subjected to persecution and suppression by the Kyiv government for years.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its forces have destroyed significant amounts of military equipment supplied to Ukraine by Western countries during this operation. This includes German-made “Leopard 2” tanks, numerous American and British armored vehicles, as well as tanks and military vehicles provided by NATO member states.
