Russia Reports Downing of Ukrainian Drones and Missiles Near Moscow

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense declared on Sunday that its forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 1,951 drones and 8 long-range cruise missiles launched by Ukraine over the past 24 hours. The ministry further stated that all “Flamingo” missiles fired by Kyiv were neutralized as they approached civilian targets in the Moscow region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement asserting that Kyiv’s extensive efforts to attack Russian territory and disrupt the election process on September 19 and 20 were unsuccessful. The statement indicated that the Kyiv regime’s attempts to launch a broad assault on Moscow failed, and the enemy was unable to achieve its objectives.

In retaliation for these alleged attacks, Russia’s armed forces are continuing and will intensify their strikes on military targets in Kyiv. Additionally, the ministry reported that 112 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over Russian territory and the Black Sea within a 12-hour period.
