Israeli National Security Minister Urges Settlers to Carry Weapons

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has called on armed Israeli settlers to carry their weapons publicly, emphasizing that the right of settlers to live is more important than the right of Palestinians to move on West Bank roads.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al-Ghad and the Mehr News Agency, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, reportedly upset by a Palestinian operation today, addressed Israeli settlers who have been armed during his tenure. He urged those with personal firearm permits not to keep their weapons stored away, but to carry them legally and responsibly, even when attending synagogue, praying, or in any public space.

The minister’s directive comes after witnessing what he termed a “counter-Zionist operation,” highlighting his continued incitement of violence against Palestinians. Ben-Gvir asserted that the right of settlers to live supersedes the right of Palestinians to travel on West Bank roads.
