Israeli Forces Shell Southern Lebanon Amid Border Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources reported on Monday that Israeli military forces engaged in artillery shelling and ground maneuvers in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army’s artillery targeted the town of Kfar Tibnit, and the outskirts of the towns of Hadaf and Baraachit also came under fire. In a separate incident, the Israeli army conducted an explosion in the outskirts of Mays al-Jabal in southern Lebanon. Israeli soldiers reportedly set fire to homes in the town of Zawtar Sharqi. Additionally, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while Israeli artillery bombarded the outskirts of Zibqin in Tyre. The Israeli army also carried out a series of explosions in the town of Al-Mansouri, with bulldozers and military equipment observed operating within the town. Reports indicate that an Israeli armored vehicle was positioned at the northern entrance of the town of Khiam, following ground movements by Israeli forces within the town and the burning of several homes, from which columns of smoke rose.
