Pro-Palestine Demonstrations Erupt in Manhattan Amidst Netanyahu’s UN Visit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a large demonstration unfolded in Manhattan, New York, in support of Palestine and in protest against the presence of Benjamin Netanyahu. The gathering occurred simultaneously with Netanyahu’s visit to New York.

This rally was organized following calls from pro-Palestinian groups in New York over recent days to protest Netanyahu’s visit and the ongoing war in Gaza.

As the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime entered the United Nations headquarters, thousands of protesters gathered on the street opposite the UN, effectively blocking the thoroughfare. This demonstration took place while Netanyahu delivered his address to the UN General Assembly.

During Netanyahu’s speech, numerous representatives from various countries departed the hall as a sign of protest, leaving him to speak to largely empty seats.
