Russia: Non-Peaceful Options Against Iran Ineffective

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia‘s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, wrote on the social media platform X that the United States has been anticipating the collapse of Iran’s economy since 1980. He emphasized that it would be better for the United States, the Persian Gulf states, and the entire world if Washington ultimately decides to focus on peaceful solutions, as other options are not effective.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on his personal page that he stated on the American NBC network’s “Meet the Press” program that President Pezeshkian and he did not come to New York for war; they came to pave the way for peace. However, Iran will stand firm against any aggression, even if it leads to an apocalyptic war. Araghchi clarified that at the same time, Iran is also ready for genuine diplomacy.
