Saudi Foreign Minister Visits U.S. for Talks with Rubio

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia‘s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, arrived in the United States on Monday for a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The visit comes against the backdrop of intensified conflict and aggression in Yemen.

The two officials are expected to exchange views on bilateral relations and the latest regional and global developments. Previously, it was reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had requested assistance from U.S. President Donald Trump to counter the rapid advances of Yemen’s Ansarullah forces, a request that Trump reportedly declined.
