Israel’s Defense Minister Threatens Hamas Leaders Abroad with Assassination

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced on Tuesday that the commander of Hamas‘s northern Gaza brigade was killed in an Israeli army operation overnight. Gallant asserted that Hamas leaders outside of Gaza are also within Israel’s sights and threatened that the regime would pursue all individuals who played a role in the October 7, 2023 attack.

Referencing a past Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders in Qatar, Gallant claimed that those individuals had survived the attack at the time due to what he described as a “technical malfunction.” However, he ominously stated, “Their turn will come.”

Earlier, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, issued a statement congratulating and mourning the martyrdom of Izz al-Din Abdul Aziz al-Bik, known as “Abu Hamza,” a member of the Qassam Military Council and the commander of the northern Gaza Strip brigade.

The statement from the brigades emphasized that the escalation of the Israeli regime’s crimes strengthens the resolve of various Palestinian generations to continue the resistance. It declared that the blood of their commanders and forces would not be in vain and the determination for resistance would not falter.
