Israeli Artillery Strikes Syrian Territory Near Quneitra

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has targeted areas around the village of Samdaniyah Sharqiyah in northern Quneitra with artillery fire. Official Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported that the Israeli military initiated the shelling.

The report indicated that these attacks did not result in any fatalities or injuries. Since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government in Syria in December 2025, Israeli military forces have exploited existing security vacuums within the country. This has included bombing heavy defense installations and warplanes, alongside advances into the Quneitra region in southern Syria.

The Israeli regime has also occupied parts of southern Syria, including the strategic heights of Jabal al-Sheikh.
