Yemen’s Ansarullah Vows Retaliation Amidst Saudi Airstrikes

Houthi official Hizam al-Asad stated that Saudi bombing of civilian areas in Sana’a will not halt Yemeni armed operations or the expulsion of Saudi-aligned forces from Taiz, vowing that the battlefield will not change course.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a statement released by Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Ansarullah political bureau in Yemen, emphasized that the bombardment of residential and civilian areas in Sana’a will not deter the country’s armed forces from their operations or from expelling elements affiliated with Saudi Arabia from Taiz.

Al-Asad added that these attacks will not alter the course of the battle with the Saudi enemy.

Yesterday, following heavy raids by Saudi fighter jets on Sana’a, Hizam al-Asad had declared that a “capital for capital” equation would be implemented, indicating impending attacks on the Saudi capital.

He further stated, “He whose capital is oil does not set fires in the capitals of others.”

This comes amid multiple bombing raids conducted by Saudi fighter jets on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, over the past day.
