Ansarallah Forces Advance Strategically in Yemen’s Taiz, Cut Key Road to Aden

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ansarallah forces in Yemen have made strategic gains in the Taiz province, capturing the Al-Safiya area and cutting off the sole remaining route to Aden, according to reports from Al-Masirah. The advance reportedly tightens the blockade on Taiz city, separating its central districts from areas controlled by the Saudi-backed government in southern Yemen.
Yemeni sources indicated that Ansarallah’s control over Al-Safiya, a crucial junction on the main route, has severed the last land corridor for transferring supplies between Taiz and the provinces of Lahij and Aden. This development occurs as clashes and airstrikes intensify in Taiz province. The Taiz-Al-Turbah-Thul-Al-Bahah-Aden axis is considered the vital artery for Taiz city, and control over surrounding heights offers a significant geographical and military advantage to either side. Combatants describe the battle as pivotal for controlling supply and communication lines within Taiz province.
