Erdogan, Putin Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional Issues in Phone Call

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation. The discussion encompassed bilateral relations between Ankara and Moscow, as well as regional and global issues, according to information published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting the Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications announced that during the call, Erdogan emphasized the importance of efforts to ensure shipping safety in the Black Sea. He stated that Turkey remains ready to assist in endeavors to initiate direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Furthermore, the Turkish President conveyed congratulations to Putin on his birthday and the success of his party in the Duma elections during the phone call.
