According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
A Yemeni official has stated that Saudi Arabia is pushing its sponsored forces to make battlefield gains regardless of the cost and casualties, leading to rising dissatisfaction among the ranks due to the high number of dead and wounded. The official informed Al Mayadeen network that more than 400 Saudi mercenaries have been killed or injured in the Ras Al-Ara region of Lahj Governorate in southern Yemen, including several commanders aligned with the Riyadh government.
The Yemeni official further elaborated that the failure of Saudi Arabia’s air defense systems has compelled Riyadh to exert pressure on its forces to achieve advances, even at the expense of heavy losses. According to the source, Saudi Arabia has been taken by surprise by the volume and precision of Yemeni missiles.
The source also highlighted concerns about the prolonged conflict, noting that some companies and investors are now contemplating withdrawal from Saudi Arabia.
