Zelensky Advisors Stunned by Trump’s Call for New Ukrainian Leader

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, German publication Bild reports that advisors to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have been stunned by comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump advocating for the selection of a new president in Ukraine.
Trump’s recent remarks regarding Zelensky’s necessity to step down have captured the attention of analysts, raising questions about Ukraine’s entry into the war with Russia based on Western promises of NATO accession. The speculation suggests that after years of conflict and devastation, the United States may now view Ukraine’s current president as a compromised asset.
U.S. President Donald Trump, in response to reporters’ questions, stated: “I suggest the Ukrainians select a new leader; a leader who can make a deal because he could have made a deal many times, but for some reason, he never did.” He continued, “Ukraine has lost 30 percent of its territory. You have lost 30 percent of your country, and over a million people have been killed. With both sides, over two million people have been killed. This was a war that should never have been started. I think the time has come for Ukraine to select a new president.”
