Yemen Warns of Escalating Response if Saudi Aggression Continues

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen announced that the principle of reciprocity will determine the nature of the military response to the Saudi regime at this stage. Dozens of martyrs, hundreds of wounded, and the destruction of infrastructure place the armed forces before the responsibility of response. The Saudi regime has ignored requests to lift the blockade and stop targeting Sana’a Airport for 12 years.
The statement indicated that Sana’a Airport has been subjected to hundreds of airstrikes, resulting in the destruction of its infrastructure. Lifting the blockade and ending hostile actions would be less costly for Saudi Arabia than its military adventures, which will inflict strategic damage on the kingdom.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised airlines flying to Saudi airports to coordinate with the Yemeni Humanitarian Operations Center. Coordination with this center would absolve airlines of their moral and legal responsibility.
The statement further asserted that Qatar’s political and media hostile activities make it complicit in the bloodshed and suffering of the Yemeni people. Qatar’s role has devolved from mediating conflict resolution to aligning improperly with the Saudi regime. Yemen urged Qatar to reconsider its position and its participation in targeting the Yemeni people through political and media means.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also declared that the United Nations and its envoy’s disregard for the transgressions indicate suspicious activities that legitimize Saudi crimes.
The statement warned that if Saudi Arabia does not end its aggressions and interventions in Yemen, greater events are forthcoming. Those issuing monetary statements and condemnations should pressure the Saudi regime to cease its crimes and aggressions. If the Saudi enemy does not stop its aggression, the list will grow longer, and its cries will herald the next phase.
Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Saudi Arabia turning Bab al-Mandab into a military battlefield reveals intentions and motives, and the international community’s silence on Riyadh’s militarization of Bab al-Mandab exposes double standards.
